Questions owners ask
How do I sell my flat, house or land in Gurugram?
List it with Gmore from this page. We film your property in Gurugram, and your video goes to buyers searching for property in Gurugram and nearby. Enter a flat in sq ft and a plot in square yards. Keep your deed, the occupation certificate and a municipal No Dues Certificate ready: every sale deed in a municipal area needs one.
Where is a property sale in Gurugram registered?
Deeds are registered by the sub-registrar of the tehsil or sub-tehsil where the property is. Gurugram district has 9 registering offices: the tehsils of Gurgaon, Sohna, Pataudi, Farrukh Nagar and Manesar, and the sub-tehsils of Wazirabad, Badshahpur, Kadipur and Harsaru. You and the buyer sign the sale deed at the office, and you file the deed online on the Haryana Deed Registration Portal (eregistration.revenueharyana.gov.in) first, and the office checks it before your appointment.
Who approves layouts and building plans in Gurugram?
DTCP Haryana licenses private colonies, GMDA grants change of land use and approves building plans in its controlled area, and HSVP plans its own sectors and approves building plans and occupation certificates there. Keep the approval number of your layout or building ready: buyers and their banks ask for it.
How much stamp duty is paid on a property sale in Gurugram?
The buyer pays 7% in urban areas and 5% in rural areas, or 5% and 3% when the buyer is a woman. The registration fee goes by slab, up to ₹50,000 for a deal above ₹90 lakh, plus a ₹200 service charge.
Do I need an NOC to sell property in Gurugram?
For vacant land under one acre in a notified urban area, the sub-registrar will not register the sale without a section 7A NOC from DTCP, unless the plot is in a licensed colony and you attach its layout plan. In a municipal area, every sale deed also needs a municipal No Dues Certificate, valid for three months.
How is an HSVP (old HUDA) plot transferred?
Apply to the HSVP Estate Officer for a transfer permission letter and a no dues certificate. A fully paid plot is transferred by a conveyance deed or sale deed, and HSVP then issues a re-allotment letter to the buyer. If the conveyance deed is done and all dues are cleared, HSVP charges ₹5,000.
How much does it cost?
From ₹8,999 including GST, for a property up to 5,000 sq ft. Your exact fee is set for your property, by its size and value, and shown to you before you pay. It covers the filming visit, the professional video and the first month of listing. After that the listing continues at ₹999 a month until you stop. There is no commission when your property sells.
Do I pay commission when my property sells?
No. You pay the flat listing fee and nothing when your property sells. In India, agents usually charge 1 to 2% of the sale price.

If your property is not sold within 18 months of going live, you get a full fee refund, minus GST. The full terms are on the Cancellation and Refunds page. To qualify, keep the listing live with each monthly fee paid within 7 days of its due date, keep your asking price within the range your Property Advisor recommends, reply to enquiries within 2 days and allow site visits. Read the refund terms.
How long does it take to sell?
It depends on the price, the location and demand, and nobody can promise a date. What Gmore changes is who calls: buyers watch the full video before they contact you, so the calls come from people who already know the property. Your listing stays live for as long as you keep it, with the 18 month refund promise behind it. Read the refund terms.
